Carrie Underwood Builds a Chicken House and Garden in Tennessee

Carrie Underwood may be best known as a Grammy-winning country superstar touring worldwide with her Denim and Rhinestones shows, but when at home the 40-year-old mom of two loves getting her hands dirty. Recently she enlisted the assistance of Epic Gardening to build her a greenhouse on her property in Franklin, Tennessee – as seen in this recent video from Epic Gardening that gives fans an insider look into her project, including Carrie assembling planters and planting various fruits and veggies alongside friends!

Carrie built not only a greenhouse but also a chicken coop and outdoor garden featuring raised beds surrounding her property. Now she is reaping the fruits of her labor by posting a gardening selfie on Instagram and showing off some fresh-picked veggies she grew herself! Her face shows great delight while holding onto an enormous stack of carrots! Carrie wears an athletic tank top from which you can buy one for $20 here along with over-ear headphones for headphones while pulling her hair back in an informal ponytail – everything needed for success!

No doubt about it: the country star loves sharing every aspect of her life with her millions of ardent fans. Along with sharing photos of her children Isaiah and Michael, she also gives fans a peek into her garden in posts such as this summer 2022 video where she grows tomatoes, mushrooms, squash blossoms and strawberries.

American Idol’s season four winner was always at heart a farm girl, even before becoming a mega country star. Growing up on a ranch near Checotah – roughly half way between Muskogee and Tahlequah where her college years took place – and staying with her grandparents when attending classes, her family would gather at the local civic center to watch her perform on American Idol.

Underwood first launched her career in 2005 and quickly earned fans’ love with her powerful vocals and upbeat hits, such as “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” which was nominated for Song of the Year at 2017 Grammys and garnered nine nominations on CMT’s 40 Greatest Songs of 2000s list. Since then she has won various awards such as five CMT Music Awards and one Grammy. Several singles from Underwood’s albums have reached No.1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs charts multiple times, winning five CMT Music Awards and one Grammy – most notably her single “Jesus, Take the Wheel”.

“The Bullet,” her latest track, takes aim at America’s gun violence epidemic with an emotive ballad about mothers mourning the death of their sons and she featured it during her Cry Pretty Tour by inviting a different audience member onto the stage each night to sing along and join in singing this powerful ballad about mourning mothers burying sons. Additionally, this song served as its opening theme song of each show she performed in Oklahoma and with her mother each time they performed this piece there.
